This is a rendering? Wow. Things have moved ahead quite a bit since my Amiga-LightWave days... BTW, like how long did it take to render that frame?
Oh, and this is a fancy unicycle frame, right? ;-)
mil3n (13 months ago | reply)
yes, rendering. took just a few minutes, its pretty basic studio setup with 2 lights. i used to do this and modelling for living like 5 years ago.
maybe its fancy, but it will be hard to fit a wheel and a saddle at the same time. :)

a bicycle font? 8-)
thanks! Ondrej, i hope so :)sunny, just an &, this one alone took a day, so no way i'm making a complete font.
Actually I myself average about 8 hours per glyph (at least for my best work) although that does include things like spacing, kerning, testing, etc.
Quim Marin ( Marin DSGN ) (13 months ago | reply)
great!, I'm agree with Ondrej Jób.nicely done

thanks guys!
Hrant, that sounds pretty much, though i never made a real text face.
What's interesting BTW is that 8 hours per glyph was what some metal-era type designers also claimed!
