Angus Relaxes on the Recliner
After Thanksgiving dinner, Angus climbed up on the recliner to smooch with Dale who was standing behind it. He really doesn't know how big he is.

Blanket Back
The Back
Put in a silk/cotton batting. And used purple blanket binding around it.

Blanket Front
Using a piece of white muslin, I folded it like a flag. Then I clamped two wooden star shapes onto it and dunked it into the indigo dye vat.

I hand quilted all the stars. And I embroidered the baby's name in one star.

Blanket
If I were to do it again, I'd do two strips and sew them up the middle. That way all of the stars would be as crisp as the edge ones are on this one.
