Avenue Mont Royal East Benches

Royal Bank, Papineau & Mont-Royal
i found one of these on the ground in angrignon park
Avenue Mont Royal East Benches by Mikey G Ottawa.
Mount Royal rises in the background- over a street scene from East Mount Royal Avenue on a mild late march, 1986 morning in Montreal East.

Not so much good eyes, as memory. My first girlfriend lived near there (circa 1967-1970), and I often, late at night, walked on Mount-Royal from De Lorimier to St-Denis; it was usually faster than waiting for the once-an-hour night bus.

Don't mind my goofy comments, Martin. I'm crazy but not dangerous.
I triggered a memory with this. A memory of 'first love!'

Cool! I enjoy Your photos, Martin. Merci pour la visite..

I think those bus stop signs have a value and you should treasure that as an artifact of the Montreal STCUM Transit System!
I'm just sayin'. Merci Beaucoup et Meilleurs Voeux a Vous et Votres!

The building with a gigantic "C" was "Croteau", cheap clothing store. I wonder if it's not what became L'Aubainerie much later and moved east between Fabre and Garnier ?

yarabundi -> Yes all the «Croteau» became «Aubainerie Croteau» and eventually just «L'Aubainerie»
