Hazel armchair with rope seat
I have tried several different materials for weaving a seat, looking for something that suits the appearance of my chairs, doesn't cost too much and doesn't stretch. I'll have to use this chair for a few weeks to see how the rope performs. This is the most comfortable chair I have made.

Bird's nest in wood shed
This is a close-up of the thrush that made a nest in my wood shed. The light in there is poor and I didn't want to get too close, so it's a bit grainy, I'm afraid.

New wood shed with squatter
I made a wood shed inside a barn using palettes. I had hardly finished before a song thrush made a nest on it and laid three eggs. See the next photo for a close-up of the nest.

Alder stool with Danish tape seat
Alder isn't a great furniture making wood as it isn't long lasting. It's so attractive, I think it is worth using anyway.
