Here is a quick image I Captured as I was coming back from Great Falls. I of course don't travel without my camera and was hoping to be in a good position for a sunset on the way home. I wasn't finding what I wanted so I back tracked a few miles and was able to at least get this. Enjoy

We had a fantastic weekend in Big Sky Montana! I had the great pleasure to be able to attend a photography workshop help by the amazing Dane Sanders, Mike Colon, and Tamara Lackey. I can't even begin to express how appreciative I am for everything I took out of this seminar. Not only for my business but for life in general. Awesome Experence and if anyone every gets the cahnce to attend one of there session I would highly recommend!
This is a shot taken from outside our room and is 6 vertical shots stiched to create a panorama of the entire mountain ridge. The morning was FREEZING!!! The ski runs actually shut down because of frost bite warnings since the temperatures were at -38 degrees ( without windchill ). So to make a long story short!!! I had a few minutes before we started a session about wedding photography and just needed to utilize my time and take a picture of the Mountain. I didnt think the cold weather would be a big issue for the fact that I was going to come back into the seminar within 20 minutes. Well, my right ear is still hurting after 31 hours but the purple color is going away. I tried to wrap a scarf around my cheeks and ears but apparantly it didnt cover about a inch of my right ear. OUCH - I guess it may have been a smarter choice to join the rest of the group in a nice warm room but as a photographer I just needed to Capture it.

A little view of South Billings

So, I got home from a early morning photo journey and was greeted by this little creature. I am not sure where he came from but he was patiently waiting inside my house and ready for a photoshoot in the studio. I grabbed my 50mm 1.4 and the reversing lens for a quick macro shot. He was a good sport for a few shots and then decided he had enough. I got what I wanted and we parted out ways

So I was on my way out the door so I couls make it to work on time for a meeting!!!!! I noticed the sky turning colors and immediately went the opposite direction and headed to the river instead. I figured I had a extra 10 minutes to burn and thankfully I live very close to both the river and work. This is what I came up with this morning. Not to bad for a 10 minute side trip and I even made it to my meeting on time. A man has to have priorities ya know !!! LOL
