Eternal Harkness

Eternal Harkness

"This ill-advised sequel to one of the Gamecube's greatest games is as hard to play as it is to understand Silicon Knight's choice to ditch it's own well realized mythos in favor of a slapdash Torchwood tie-in. The game's only saving grace is John Barrowman and the rest of Torchwood's cast lending their talents to the game's mostly stilted dialogue." - Yoshi Miller, Head Editor, GSO: Nintendo

Griers of War

Griers of War

"The 2008 holiday season has been host to a great number of licensed tie-ins, some being shameless cash-ins while others managing to skillfully integrate their licensed properties into well suited genres. Griers of War falls somewhere in the middle, the game is by no means a failure, but by the same token no huge success. GoW assimilates multiple disparate genre elements, and the story experiences so many tonal shifts it is difficult to pinpoint just where this game sits on the quality spectrum. It so rapidly fluctuates some it's so-bad-it's-good to just plain terrible to moments of absolute genius. I cannot recommend this game highly enough, some will hate it, some will love it, and I can proud say I am in the latter."- Scott Finnigan, Gamestation UK

Roguespierre

Roguespierre

"Though the actual game maintains few (if any) similarities to it's cover art or earlier games in the Rainbow Six lineage, Roguespierre is the game to play this holiday season. Red Storm's most recent outing is the very definition of adventure gaming: challenging puzzles, beautiful locales, complex characters, and an engrossing story. Plus you get to murder a bunch of stinking frogs, and who doesn't like that?" - Craig Casaba, Chief Editor, Gamestation Online

Twisted Settle III

Twisted Settle III

"If you were to tell me at the beginning of this year that my two favorite games would have involved tactical dentistry and centrifugal action, I probably would have laughed in your face and them puked all over the floor. But I'll be damned if my personal game of the year award wasn't a battle between Dental Gear: Sterile and this incredibly addictive puzzle game Twisted Settle III. TS III takes this series to previously unimaginable heights, stop reading this and get out there and play this game!" - Nick Papagiorgio, Feature Editor, GSO: Sony

Call of Booty 2

Call of Booty 2

"Like Resistance: Fall of Man and Freedom Fighters before it, Call of Booty 2 crafts a disturbing alternate history of the United States wherein Allied soldiers scoured the beaches of Normandy not for munitions and medical supplies, but for the finest asses and tightest panties. As history lesson CoB 2 is an absolute failure, but as far as quirky action-adventure games go, it is an absolute joy." - Rick Richwood, GSO: Xbox
