Here is one from last week's fall foliage excursion. I shot this a little south of Ouray. Fall pretty much sucked this year. Last year was fantastic! This year... Not so great. Last year every single tree all changed color at the same time. Yesterday, Jill and I took one last trip up to Silverton in a last ditch effort to catch some fall color. Half the trees are still green. Half are yellow. And half are completely bare.
Sadly, I have to leave Durango. I love it here. It's 24 degrees outside right now. Two days ago, it was 70º. I have always loved the change of season. Unfortunately, often times, the change of season meant that you are now in for several months of crappy weather. What I love about living in a motorhome is that I can enjoy the change of season... And then leave. I'm starting to head south today.
