The "S" train, also known as the shuttle, pulls into 42nd Street. According to Wikipedia, it is the shortest route on the entire New York City Subway, connecting 42nd Street with Grand Central in officially one minute.

This one lane tunnel on Taylor Street in Glen Ellyn goes underneath the Union Pacific Railroad (formerly Chicago & Northwestern Railroad) and is controlled by traffic signals on each side.

This is the Illinois Prairie path looking west towards downtown Glen Ellyn. It was after 10pm when I took this shot. I had actually been down shooting pictures of the one lane tunnel that goes underneath the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks (Taylor Avenue) and the Prairie Path goes right above. I trekked up the embankment to the Prairie Path bridge. I looked east down the path and I thought I saw a light off in the distance. “Impossible”, I thought to myself. “It’s ten o’clock at night. This trail is snowy and icy. It’s dark, cold and foggy. There’s no way that’s a person running.” I stood there for a few minutes watching the little light off in the distance bounce up and down like it was attached to someone. It got brighter and closer. Sure enough, it was a woman out for a late night run. As she approached me, she said hello and nothing more. As she trudged through the snow with steam emitting from her mouth and kicking up snow from her shoes, I fired off a few shots. I hope that she reads this, because I think that this shot came out pretty awesome. Thank you… whoever you are!

The Downers Grove Main Street Depot is empty and quiet on a Sunday night. This is sort of a recreation of my original Lone Passenger shot, which was taken on the other side of the platform nearly 3 years ago.
