Hmmmmmmmmmm. Something looks weird. Are those seals on top of the formations. Are we looking at the results of photoshop diddling? Looks more like Stonehenge than the Central Coast.

This is one of the most beautiful spots on the coast. You did it justice, Mike. Wish I could have been there with you guys.

The Buchon Trail has so many locations of beautiful rock and shoreline formations. Excellent capture Mike, you can take your P&S and make a photograph worthy of hanging on the wall.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called California Photographer , and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Cool rocks. Had no idea California had anything like these off the coast. Will have to make it down there to film them someday when I can catch a sunset.

    Thanks
    Darv

Beautiful shot. What a great subject! I shot at Montana de Oro last month but didn't go through the gate near PG&E. Do they let people shoot here after sunset or do they boot you off?

  15. mikebaird 39 months ago | reply

Tom, Bummer, you have to be back to the check-in/out gate by 4PM, last I knew. They may extend that a bit later during summer. It is not the kind of place you'd want to sneak into after hours either, as security at the nearby nuclear power plant is serious. Signs say you will be met by "deadly force."
