Beautiful. I have fond memories of flying up there once for lunch. Flying over those dunes is a beautiful sight. Landing at that little airport in a Glasair is another matter entirely.

Allen Rockwell kevincole Eggz Thanks all, but this was just an old 2002 fuzzy snapshot I took when I was a real newbie. The Sierra Club found it through the miracle of Google I suppose, and asked to use it, so I resurrected it here. Thanks to Docent Jack Beigle who led us out on this tour.

Another sincere thanks for the photo and its creative commons use. I have used it on my Oceano page: Oceano.
I have used many other of your photos at my site, but without the proper attribution as per www.flickr.com/people.mikebaird/#credit.
I am in the process of rectifying those errors.
