Cerres

Cerres

One of many colonised worlds orbiting Calall, as well as being the largest, Cerres is the capital world of the more recently established Calallan Union. After its designation as the capital, many Unionists and people of other nationalities began to converge on the world, and Cerres rapidly developed on an residential and industrial level. Cerres is unique in that it is only agrarian world without a Relic; massive inpenetrable structures embedded into the crust of each other world, believed responsible for terraformation. The Union has a high reverence for the Relic creators, and firmly believe that this world was their home. However, the lack of ancient remains contradicts this theory.

Cerres bares the scars of many ancient and recent asteroid strikes. Calall's gravity pulls in objects from the nearby asteroid belt, as well as meteors that pass through the system. More recently was the destruction of the world Merceda due to a catastrophic accident, which strung much rock and debris into Calall's orbit. Cerres and the other colonies of Calall have powerful rail guns and tracking systems for the Union's asteroid defence network, to protect the colonies against asteroid strikes. Most inbound asteroids are destroyed or knocked away, but given their number and unpredictable nature and origins, not all can be stopped.

Parsador

Parsador

Parsador is the homeworld of the Dominion. It is tidally locked with the planet Telsar, so the same sides of both planets always face each other. In addition, tidal forces draw most of Parsador's water towards and away from Telsar, resulting in a band of land mass wrapping around each side ofthe planet. This is referred to by the Parsadorans as the 'Continental Arch'; the land mass is separated at the south pole by a body of water. Parsador's crust has the most accessible metal ore deposits of all the planets in the system, but only a portion of these has been exploited and exported; the Dominion's refusal to actively engage in an interplanetary economy prevents other nations from accessing these deposits.

Slight gravitational disturbances to the Parsador-Telsar system are enough to initiate severe earthquakes on the surface of both planets. These earthquakes occur planetwide and almost unexpectedly, and unlike other planets are unrelated to tectonic movement. To protect themselves from these random and destructive events, the Parsadorans constructed massive modular structures all across the planet for commercial, residential and industrial use. These megastructures are essentially giant dampened platforms tethered to the ground, with the cities and facilities built on top of them, and absorb most of the earthquake's energy before it hits the substructures and their inhabitants.

Liberator MBT (Mk 2)

Liberator MBT (Mk 2)

The Liberator Main Battle Tank is a distinguished war vehicle of the Parsadoran Dominion. It is renowned for its resilience, endurance and firepower, and is somewhat revered by Dominion soldiers.

Its primary weapon, a pair of nexon-charged, accelerated plasma cannons, is capable of disintegrating armoured vehicles and fortified positions from great distances. The cannons can also be charged with air should the nexon supply be depleted. These cannons are supplemented by a light air-charged plasma repeater and a Ripper launcher, both mounted to the sides of the turret.

The Liberator uses such advanced electronics and navigation systems that only a single crewperson is required. The onboard systems allow an adept pilot to simultaneously drive the tank and operate the turret. Pilots are also given basic mechanical and electrical training in the case of breakdowns.

Troopers

Troopers

Like any armed force, Troopers are the core of the Dominion Military. Armed with advanced plasma weapons, equipped with the latest ultimium-composite body armour, and exhibiting high physical and mental fitness, they are renowned as the best soldiers in the local star system. This is a point of pride for the Dominion, and has gone as far to require all school-leavers to complete one year of military service as Trooper recruits, before they retrieve their citizenship.

Troopers are divided into three categories: Defenders, Specialists and Tacticians. Defenders are the basic Troopers called on for all frontline duties, and are typically equipped with Vindicator rifles. Specialists are equipped with advanced equipment and weaponry, such as Avenger rocket launchers or Seeker rifles, that are employed against specific targets. Tacticians are lightly armed, but have sophisticated communications and tracking equipment that allows them to co-ordinate multiple teams of Troopers simultaneously during missions.
