They are a band :)
Strobist info: One flash behind shoot-through umbrella with 1/2 CTO camera left. Another Flash on the floor behind the group with blue gel attached to it. Triggered with Cactus radio triggers. Which have proven to be quite unreliable but what can you expect with such low price. Some cross-processing with Photoshop.
