This one wasn't easy to get the exposure right, but I got it in-camera (JPEG) with no RAW.
That's one thing I have to practice more, there is no RAW when shooting film ;-)

I like this city

Each time I come to visit San Francisco, I like it more and more.

It's really great that it takes 10 minutes of public transportation to get to views like this.
Shortly after I started following this 365 project from Dustin Diaz I decided I should try some of his ideas on my next visit to San Francisco. -- He's got so many I can't try, but many are so inspiring (and fairly doable for me) that I think I should try.
Posing is the second hardest thing to me, only second to not deleting all photos of myself :D

Thank you Dustin for your great 365 project and all your setup and strobist info.

Embracing Christmas

It seems Christmas kicks in everywhere right after Halloween, when not earlier.
I've heard that in the U.S. the Christmas crazy-shopping season officially begins right after Thanksgiving Day, when they switch on huge Christmas trees all over the place.
It'll be nice seeing this live :-)

Mission Accomplished

Today, after quite some hard work and trouble to get where we are now,
I executed the last step in the long relocation process:

Enjoy a fresh beer at home, with your goods, your new job and your new life.

Our move from Dublin to Zurich is now officially completed.

Halloween is coming, I can see that in my office :-)
(those eyeballs were muffins, the white layer was pure sugar, too sweet, even for me)

8 weeks ago, a bunch of guys came to my home in Dublin and took everything away in a huge lorry, leaving us with just about 50 Kg. of luggage. Today we got our stuff back, at last!
Our move from Dublin to Zurich will be officially complete once I fulfill the last step:

Enjoy a fresh beer at home, with your goods, your new job and your new life.
