Puerta Secreta / Secret Door

He pasado por esta calle varias veces antes, y esto es nuevo. EDIT: Desde que publiqué esta foto, la casa ya fue demolida (por eso el "Good Bye"), y pronto el terreno formará parte de un nuevo edificio empresarial. Ya que iba a ser demolida, los dueños permitieron que la pinten por dentro y fuera. Imagino que debe ser una práctica común. EDIT 2: Después de casi 2 años, la puerta encontró a su autor: XOMATOK. Pueden ver en su perfil otras fotos de la casa.

I've walked along this street several times before, and this is definitely new. EDIT: Since I published this photo, the house has been demolished (hence "Good Bye"), and soon there will be a brand new office building here. It was going down anyway, so the owners allowed it to be painted from the inside out. I guess it's common practice. EDIT 2: After almost 2 years, the door found its author: XOMATOK.     Oh my gosh... I really like this. How very creative! The scissors and dotted line are perfect. Just such a shame that this wonderful piece of architecture and history will be demolished.

    I too think the scissors are the best and most creative part. I actually thought of just cropping that part with the "Bye" below, but the whole door looked better to me. Thanks Josh and Laura. And thanks Dawn for the fave.

    para mi siempre es toda una experiencia pintar algo que sabes que sera destruido, es como la vida, que sabes que acabara, guardo muchos recuerdos de esa casa, y en especial la puerta, que queria llevarmela (por eso las tijeras), era hermosa por dentro, pasadizos semisecretos, cuartos grandes, una hermosa chimenea y otras cosas mas, lastima que los edificios frios lleguen por nuestra ciudad.
    Por eso es bueno vivir como si fuera el ultimo dia.

    Me alegro que la foto haya encontrado finalmente un autor, esperaba que algún día sucediera. Han pasado casi 2 años desde que la publiqué y debo decir que es una de las más populares de mi colección, y con justa razón.
