Beetle being helpless with laughter...This is an illustration for a little childerensbook I'm working on. The title will be 'De slappe lach van Tor'. It's about a Beetle who wakes up one morning having the giggles. And nothing (not even the most unpleasant, boring, annoying task) stops him from helplessly laughing. In this illustration Beetle is at home watching the News... earthquakes, hurricanes, fire and other kinds of disaster are passing by. He tries to pull down the corners of his mouth to look serious. But nothing erases the smile on his face.

Mr. Bean?Ladies and gentleman, may I introduce: Bonekont! Bonekont means as much as "Beanbottom"... Given the fact that he's stuffed with little beans, that's probably a suitable name. =) Bonekont is kind of a grumpy looking fellow, but nevertheless he's never to tired to join my friend Mirella for a trip... He's been all over the world with her. So if you ever need good company on a trip: Bonekont is the man... (ehhh... monkey).
