Giraffe Clay
Giraffe Clay from Carrum Downs. This patterning formed in the clay after it had dried out and cracked. Subsequently it was infilled by more humic sediments creating the giraffe patterning. Identified in an archaeological test pit approximately 1.2 metres down.
