Mathieu and christmas tree bokehwow... quel detail
![]() I made a stop to Mall today with my kid. A huge christmas tree was in the middle of the place, so i used it for background, took a shot of my kid with the 7D, 70-200mm at 2.8 iso 200. Camera exposure set at -1/3. 1/100 second. flash on ETTL mode. There is a skylight into the mall roof, this is where the hair light come from..

I did put a flash on the ground on his front right, trigger by pocket wizard. What i think of the 7D, as photo, i like the colors, but it is never really sharp, and i have lots of grain even at iso 200 everywhere and in the bokeh... I will make more test, but i don't know what to say... like the video stuff. but i'm not impress by the photo quality... and i did try most of the options available.. I had to sharpen the photo here.. uncrop CommentsMô_ (Michelle)

Great colours and light. Brilliant portrait.
I'm only looking on the iPhone screen, so couldn't comment on image quality. I had read that the ISO performance on the 7D was very good?!
