Orbits of the Planets by Michæl.Paukner

Orbits of the Planets

A scale model of the orbits of the planets in our solar system. The inner planets' orbits and sun are to the same scale. They would fit in the smallest orbit of the outer planets. The sun's light takes over 4 hours to reach neptune at a mean distance of 4,504,300,000 kilometers.

Here you can learn more about our solar system: science.nationalgeographic.com/science/space/solar-system

Squaring The Circle by Michæl.Paukner

Squaring The Circle

Did you know that you can square a circle by it's circumference just by taking the sizes of the Earth and the Moon? The perimeter of the white square around the Earth equals the perimeter of the circle, that you draw through the center of the Moon. I heard about this amazing fact in a documentary about crop circle geometry. You can watch a detailed explanation at the beginning of Part 2 of "Crop Circles - Crossover From Another Dimension". Watch it, it's mind-blowing!

By the way... if you like the font in this image as much as I do, pick it up for free here!
