Waterfall at Avalanche Creek

A waterfall at Avalanche Creek on the Trail of the Cedars walk in
Glacier National Park. I love the blue glacial water and the way the
water has carved out its little tunnel through the rocks over
millenia.

Wonderful mixtures of smooth rocks or all colors, mixed together at
the edge of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park, brought to you by
glaciers scrambling things up over thousands of years.

Roxborough Rocks and Trees

Taken in Roxborough State Park, just south of Denver, Colorado in
October 2009. This is looking up at the east wall from near the south
end of the valley. I love the multi-colored layers of rocks and the
fact that trees can actually grow out of rock.
