Making this 4 minute exposure was both very peaceful and very nervewracking! I had to calmly balance my tripod and my self on the thin supports. See the notes for a representation of the placement.

A gentleman on the pier took interest in my activities as I was taking this photograph. He remarked that the weather was really not that great for photography. I respectfully disagreed! The overcast weather in fact enabled the long exposure times and the mood I was going for day.
