ZAK was photographed with one of Helmi's old Canon cameras. I used available light that came from a window behind Zak. There was some fill in from the white ceiling and walls. The background was black. I used a cat tease (a feather on a stick) with my left hand and held the camera (an SLR camera) in my right hand.

The ASA setting was 1600 and the approximate shutter speed was 1/30th. The aperture about f2.8-4.5. Read more about ZAK. He is gentle, beautiful and shy.

Except for the picture of ZAK, please forgive the image quality. They were essentially snap shots. They are all beautiful cats with great characters. The best thing about this picture is the expression. I think we get a sense of the true Maine Coon character. I hope so.
