Not true! It is very big in Japan, however we here in US like to exaggerate our (has-been) status! (and Japan is not in the World Series :o). There are many Japanese players now, such as the pitcher for the Red Sox. Conversely, Soccer (Football everywhere else in the world) is not very big here.
