I took this photo last summer and just recently edited it.

I did not have much time to take pictures this Fall which is a shame because it was a pretty one. I did have one day, however, to get a few pretty nice shots. This was taken behind the Thornhill, right around the family graveyard,. I noticed the line of trees and thought that might make an interesting shot using the trees and fallen leaves framing the Thornhill. The Thornhill was the house of Missouri's governor in the mid-1800's. It is said by many that they have seen the ghost of the long-dead governor through windows in the house. The grounds around the house are especially beautiful this time of year, but by now these leaves are all gone, giving the whole area a sad look to it.

An old house from the mid-nineteenth century that wasn't originally in this location. It must have been driven here. That's kind of a weird idea. To me this looks like the kind of place that would be haunted.

At the center of a graveyard I went to the other day I found this Cross in the center. I decided to isolate the Cross with the sky in the background where the sun was just beginning to set. Then I added a texture and blended it into the photo using several layers in photoshop.
