I think I took this picture in about 1989, perhaps a little later.

I am pleased to add it.
The map was used on a morning TV program in the UK and a chap would walk over the map giving the days forecast. Occasionally he'd fall in when jumping over to Ireland :o)
I think once there was an incident when a naked man jumped on the map when they were live too...

if somebody were to jump around on a tiny island on my evening news weather every day, i'd tivo it and watch it religiously.

BTW that is me on the cover of Dave Eicher's book. Fred is an amateur astronomer as well as an occasional TV weatherman for Granada.
