Projeto do artista Eolo Maia, edifica o que se chama pós-moderno. Construido buscando expor os materiais produzidos pela industria de Minas: a cerâmica, o cimento e o ferro, alem de compor diversas lembranças dos prédios da Praça: estando presentes a cúpula da Secretaria da Educação, os cubos art decoux do Palácio do Bispo, os triângulos frontais da Secretaria da Fazenda e do Palácio da Liberdade, constituindo uma obra interessante quando se tem todas estas informações.
