ZACK T. SIGLER JR

Today, I have taken a walk in the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial (Saint-Avold) and I have met two gentlemen from North Carolina. They asked me if I wanted to take a picture. I answered yes and I followed them until the grave of ZACK T. SIGLER JR.
Then, one of the men, told me that the nephew of ZACK T. SIGLER JR. who also name Zack Sigler asked him to visit his tomb. He took a small jar which contained some sand from Normandy. He filled the engraved letters with the sand.
It was really very moving.
He cleaned up the grave and he have put the american flag into the ground.
May they, him and his brothers in arms, rest in peace.
