Niels, the walking stick maker

We met Niels while on our travels through Spain on route to Morocco. He invited us into his home (a converted Volvo bus), and is one of the nicest guys we have met on our trip.

We got some custom storage boxes fitted to our truck, and I thought the welding was a great opportunity to play with the light.

Irish woods can be dark and gloomy places. These guys were taking part in the 3 peaks challenge event in October 2011. Normally lighting a shot in the woods while it's raining is tricky, but the trucks lights made it easy.
