Decided it was time for a new portrait. Nothing special.
Very much my life right now. Welcome to Fort McMurray!

The idea for this didn't turn out the way I wanted. I may post one that fits more later.

This is all natural lighting actually.

Fort McMurray Daisies by meresoftwilight

Fort McMurray Daisies

I still stand by that anyone can take flower photos, but I liked this one.

Fort McMurray is not really the place I want to be, but at least its pretty in some aspects of the word. I live across the street from a forest which is happy for me, but I've yet to explore it.

I need to really explore this town with a camera. Down by the river and all of that. I think I'd have more fun if it wasn't just me.

Babbaloo

Yes its a cat portrait.
For my friend Lies who is in Japan. I was given her cat for the interim. He's quite charming when he's not fighting with my big guy.
We refer to them affectionately as The Boys.

Runs in the Family by meresoftwilight

Runs in the Family

I mean well, I'm well well I mean I'm in hell well I still have my health at least that's what they tell me.
If wellness is this what in hells name is sickness?
But business is business and business runs in the family.

We tend to bruise easily.
Mad in the blood.
I'm telling you cuz I want you to know me - know me & my family.
We're wonderful folks
-Amanda Palmer

inspired.

I may, at some point, redo this composite as I'm not totally 100% on it.
I had thought that perhaps to pass the time I would do a photo for each of the songs on her Who Killed Amanda Palmer album. We'll see how that goes.

I do believe this is the first appearance of the New Cat.
