Hi,

I'm building a website called pumpkins for change. It's pumpkinsforchange.com. It will be going live tonight or tomorrow. We'd like to collect a bunch of pictures of Obama and political themed jack-o-lanterns in time for Holloween and the upcoming election.

I would really like to have your permission to use your pumpkin picture as a demo of what we're looking for. That's it. I promise. Please let me know if we can use your picture on our website. I'm happy to send you a pic of what the site will look like or discuss it further if you have any questions. You can email me at pumpkinsforchange@gmail.com

Of course once we get some submissions, you can formally submit your pumpkin to our small competition. We'll have a small prize for best entry (no fees to enter the pic).

Thanks all for the great comments! The thing I'm hesitating about is that I didn't carve this pumpkin and I don't know who did. I did take the photo at a fair and I didn't think to ask who came up with such a great idea. I just want people to get credit they deserve. Thanks!
