I've been working on this in some form or another since last December. What's so special about it? Realistic, independent suspension, and front wheels that steer in place, needing only a couple millimetres of clearance.
As I reached the end of the project, I began to realize that there was
no way I would have enough black Technic for a cab, and at this point,
it really seems like a cursory detail to me- this is all about the
functionality. And functional it is; except for
a slightly weak driveshaft (fixed) and steering that can be shaken out of place if you drop it
enough times (oh well), everything works pretty much as I wanted.
Tomorrow, I will add a gallery, including mechanism shots- I didn't
have time to prepare the large setup for it tonight.
