Superb shot- really strong mood and atmosphere here, this has such a strong sense of place and dereliction. The sharp focus on the cyclist and the bokeh behind are super, and the haze/mist/smog fading out those apartment towers add real intensity to the shot. I really like the power-lines overhead- they really help locate the image, and the title is just spot-on. Perfect timing and photojournalistic framing- all round a winner and my fave from the bicycles competition.
