He was there at the lake in that evening. I spotted him fishing. When asked, he told me, "I retired from the government office a couple of years ago. What else I wanna do? Fishing is my past time hobby...."

The boundary between middle age and old age cannot be defined exactly because it does not have the same meaning in all societies. In many parts of the world, people are considered old because of certain changes in their activities or social roles. Examples: people may be considered old when they become grandparents, or when they begin to do less or different work — retirement. In Malaysia, it is as classic as it can be. People are often considered old if they have lived a certain number of years and will make the impression of old if they become fathers of grown-up kids or worst when the grandchildren came along.
