WordPress File Upload Error

The error message you receive when you try to upload a file type that is not specifically allowed by the WordPress uploader.

Hi, Lloyd, I am not a WordPress user, but I am willing to guess that most WordPress users don't completely understand what the error message means or what they need to do to resolve the problem. Most probably don't even understand why it occurs or why WordPress might be trying to protect themselves or their customers. This error message prevents a user task from being completed, and I feel WordPress could be doing more for their customers. There are a lot of things going on here, and user education is only one part of the picture.
