Geneva tess class models

The model I taught
how about you teach us this one!
XD
Geneva tess class models by Mélisande*.
Some puff star models I folded as examples of what can be done with these stars.

I taught the simplest one, bottom right. All 15 people completed it, some quite easily, some needed frequent help.

Coincidentally, I discovered the evening before the class that same model is scheduled as workshop nb 4 at holland convention in march 2007, and rated "for very experienced folders".

I couldn't refrain to tell this in Geneva...at the end of the class, of course !

Quite beautiful. I don't remember having seen the one at the bottom left before.

Thanks.
Bottom left is a very simplificated version of this by Nathalie.
The blue upper left I saw by Gigi Gaisbauer.

Oh my. That's a terrifying thought. I always thought this puff-star model is actually quite easy to fold- all you have to do is learn how twist works, and then how to puff it! It's just the repetition that is more complicated.

I classed this model as "easy". What would the other designs be, if taught in the Netherlands? "super ultra complicated complex" ?

I suppose that the puff star is complex if you have never folded anything other than a crane before, but even so the concept behind it is quite simple.

Kevin, it's just like the puff star- just instead of folding another whole set of triangles to unfold and puff, just unfold and puff 4 of them right next to the central hexagon.

Not easy to describe in text, I guess, but it's really not complicated to do in person.
