Layered weaved square twists

This is a new technique, at least for me, and I'm rather pleased with the result.

Now that I think about it, it is actually the same technique that Helena Verrill's zigurat. Something I didn't noticed before.

She had some amazing techniques in that article- I'm still waiting to have some time to dig into it and try folding them all.

There are some very interesting things to be learned from this, and applied elsewhere, of course!

This fold looks particularly nice from elephant hide.
