All I said was that I wanted a colour and a trim, and he suggested purple tints...
"PURPLE?!!!", I squeaked.
"Trust me, it will look VERY cool..."
The rest as they say... is history...
I do like it, it's different and it goes very well with the red. I just was apprehensive in the beginning because I generally stay away from "unnatural" colours.

my new york
Trying to churn out some more images from my trip in New York. I actually called this preset I made "My New York", which I think it's cool, although it's a little different from the last New York shot I put up.
My time spent on my leave is not going so well planned. My room is only 15% packed, which is disastrous taking into consideration that I was hoping to have done most of it by now.
To make things worse is that I think I have misplaced my flash drive, which is driving me insane because I remember putting it away safely. I am hoping really hard that I didn't accidentally throw it away in the middle of all the cleaning up. It sucks because it's by mimobot and those don't come easy to replace. Please send some good vibrations this way and hopefully I'd find it tomorrow morning.
Everyone is talking about 2010 and how there is only one day left in 2009. Someone even asked me about my resolutions, but I'm afraid I am not one to believe in making resolutions in the sense that I don't see a point in making promises to oneself that the likelihood of keeping remains at zero. But maybe that's just my ill-discipline.
One thing I'll try to do for this year though, is to stay faithful for 365. Do I hear some support for that?!

missing yellow
I wanted to make this first Bench Monday photo of mine all about primary colours, but couldn't find a yellow chair.
I generally don't really like how my legs look, so I always try to hide them either in long pants, jeans, stockings, skirts... you name it. I do love wearing fancy stockings though, the more outrageous they are, the more I like them... except the buttless ones... "Buttless?", you ask? Another story for another time.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!!!
Those are greetings from me and my icy glass of coke (with no rum... )
I love Christmas, it's the most wonderful time of the year. Indulging in cliches, there are many things to thank God for. My new niece, a stable job in a rocky year, partaking in the happiness in many unions of my friends... there is much joy overweighing the sorrow, and there's always something to smile about.
Like being on leave from now till 2010!!!
I've indulged in taking 1.5 weeks off work just to laze about at home. (So glad to put work as a thing of the past for 2009 by the way.) Not something I've done before but I'm stoked about it.
I spent Christmas Adam putting together my to-do list for next week.
1) Pack room: floor, bookshelf, dresser, wardrobe, corner shelving (in order of importance)
2) Organise new make-up drawer (early Christmas present from mom)
3) Clean hamster tanks
4) Finish editinig photos (I have this backlog like you wouldn't believe!!!)
5) Put up lights bought from my trip to Siem Reap earlier in the year
6) Re-organize Flickr
7) Hair-colour (I'm so tempted to go red again!!!)
8) START 365!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna be a busy busy bee...
On Christmas Adam (besides making my list), I also helped out with the Christmas tree... thus my entanglement... My family always has a knack for procrastinating putting up the decorations.
Not easy with your eyes being covered by a big fluffy Santa's hat either...
