Meet Capo.

The first mountain I ever hiked was the Chief in Squamish when I came to BC for a summer in 1996.

Always wanted to name a dog after it.

Italy has proven to be a special place for me, and thanks to a moment of story-telling with my friend Claudio in Torino, Capo was given his name. Capo (Il Capitano) is the Italian word for Chief.

Heli is from my brother, Helicopter Pilot Rob Cole, who was the surrogate parent, helper, terror-influence for the first 2 years of Capo's life.

I grew up with Goldens, but met my first Bernese in 1998 and have been dreaming of having my very own ever since.
