so recent events (and future events) in my life have me considering the pros and cons of living safely. i've never been the type to do the typical reckless teenage nonsense.. but i'm wondering if i've somehow missed an appreciation for nonsense in general.

the only thing that has driven the past four years of my life is academic success. now that high school is over.. is that still the most important thing?

i'm assuming not. at least.. that's what everyone says when they're in a sentimental mood. the most important thing in life is happiness, right?

but what's so good about only being motivated to feel happy?
