About:

Dansefoto is me, Eirik Folkedal. I'm currently working as a professional dancer and dance-teacher, educated from The University of Stavanger. My speciality within photography is anything happening on and around a stage, especially dance and music.

Since I've been working on/off/around the stage my whole life, it has only been natural for me to focus my photography on this area.

I do shoots for both choreographers, dance-companies, single-productions and dancers, bands, stage performances and concerts among others.

My latest job was covering the Sauti za Busara music festival on Zanzibar, Tanzania. Feb. 9-13. 2011.
