We got married | Oct. 4, 2008

Exactly 11 years to the day that we met, Ian and I got married in Asheville, N.C. (well, right outside of it in Mooresboro), at RiverMist---the land owned by the officiant, Victoria Hutchins. We stood barefoot on rocks in a creek, listening to the water flow by.

Anyone who knows us knows we're not big on being the center of attention. A marriage is something private, and we wanted a private, laid-back, non-complicated/commercial wedding. We told only a few people, and didn't invite anyone. (So don't feel left out.)

But we will be throwing a huge party to celebrate in a couple months!
