This bus was originally taken into stock in May 1969 as an MBS registered VLW507G but was promptly put into store until the following January when it was reconfigured as an MBA, reregistered and sent to Walworth garage where it operated until 1975. It them went in and out of store several times before transferring to Gillingham Street in August 1977. There it worked until May 1979 when it went to Aldenham for overhaul, returning in July and serving until withdrawal the following June. Presumably still in good condition it passed to Harris (Donsway), Faversham who kept it until 1990 - as long as it had worked for LT - when it passed to Hants & Sussex, Emsworth.

VLW449G was built in 1968 as an MBS with B25D + 48 body, reseated to B32D at the end of 1969 and reclassified MBA in 1974 but as far as I can see was never overhauled or rebranded.

An IMAX theatre now occupies the centre of this roundabout. This bus was used on Red Arrow service after July 1980 but was never reclassified or given Red Arrow branding.
