(Germany) – LIEGE (Belgium).
At midnight, take the connecting flight to Frankfurt to arrive early
in the morning, After immigration and customs formalities, board
your coach and head for the Shrine of Our Lady Schoenstatt.
Schoenstatt emphasizes a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary,
upholding her as a perfect example of love and purity. Schoenstatt
seeks to invite the Blessed Mother (and, hence, her divine Son, Jesus
Christ), into the home by establishing a spiritual Covenant of Love
with her. It encourages its members to have the faith and purity of
children, and to think of Mary as their mother. Continue to Liege
for dinner and accommodation. (D)

12APR (Thu). LIEGE – BANNEAUX – LIEGE.
After breakfast leave for Banneux, a tiny hamlet in the rural district
of Louveigne, Belgium situated high up in the Ardenes on a plateau
some 1,000 feet above sea-level. Visit the Shrine of the “Virgin of
the Poor” and celebrate mass at the Chapel. Here, the Blessed
Virgin Mary appeared eight times to a peasant girl named Mariette
Beco. Then, spend the remainder of the day for prayers. The
apparitions at Banneux and the message of the Virgin Mary seem to
us to fit in, in a most extraordinary manner, both with the Gospel
and with the life of the Church today. (B,D)

13APR (Fri). LIEGE – BEAURAING – PARIS (France).
Drive this morning to Beauraing. Visit and celebrate mass at the
Shrine of Our Lady of Beauraing known as the “Virgin with the
Golden Heart”. In 1932-33, the Blessed Virgin appeared 33 times to
five children of Beauraing where she gave what was later to be known
as the greatest promise of Belgium... “I will convert sinners”. Head
on to Paris for dinner and accommodation. (B,D)

St. John Vianney). Here, at the Basilica of Ars, you can find the reliquary
containing the body of the Saint. Inside, you will also find the Chapel
of St. Philomena on whom the saint had such great devotion. Visit the
Saint’s House which has been preserved as it was in his day as has the
Chapel of the Heart which contains the Saint’s heart. Here, he spent
a great part of his holy life giving powerful sermons and spending up to
20 hours a day in the confessional, sleeping only two hours a night. See
the old 12th-century church (Église) where St. John Vianney preached.
St. Vianney was a parish priest in Ars-sur-Formans from 1818 to his
death in 1859. Travel to the village of Corps La Salette for dinner and
accommodation. (B,D)

17APR (Tue). CORPS – LA SALETTE – CORPS.
After breakfast, visit the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame of La Salette,
situated in the south of the locality of Isere in the heights of the Alps
at an altitude of about 1800 metres in an area of remarkable natural
beauty. On the 19th of September 1846, two children spoke of having
met with a ‘Beautiful Lady’ in the country side where their cows were
grazing, above the village of La Salette. Maximin Giraud was 11 and
Melanie Calvat 14. At first seated and weeping, the ‘Beautiful Lady’
stood up and, in French and in local dialect, she spoke to them for a
long time about her Son, drawing examples from their own lives. She
gave them a message and told them to ensure that it was passed on to
all of the people. The light in which she was bathed and which enfolded
all three of them came from a large crucifix which she wore upon her
chest, bearing also a hammer and pliers on the cross bar. She was wearing
a heavy chain upon her shoulders and, to the side, roses. Her head, her
body and her feet were surrounded by roses. Visit and celebrate Mass
at the Basilica of Our Lady of La Salette, a large, rather austere church,
with a facade flanked by two strong towers. The transept has three
medallions representing the stages of the apparition (the weeping, the
message, and the departure). The basilica also includes a small museum
documenting the history of La Salette. Outside the basilica, pilgrims
can take a walking path leading to the apparition site, the “Valley of
the Apparition.” Bronze statues erected in 1864 depict the three stages
of the apparition. Return to your hotel in the afternoon. (B,D)

18APR (Wed). LA SALETTE – AVIGNON.
Depart by coach to Avignon. In the afternoon, meet your guide for a
tour of the Popes’ Palace, the residence of the Sovereign Pontiffs during
the 14th Century, is the biggest Gothic Palace in the world. There are
25 rooms to visit in the Palace: ceremonial rooms, chapels, cloister, the
private papal apartments, with their priceless frescoes and new museum
space - the Musee de l’Oeuvre - which displays the evolutions in the
building of the Popes’ since the 14th century. See the Pont D’ Avignon
- the bridge of legends. Check in at your hotel for dinner and
accommodation. (B,D)

19APR (Thu). AVIGNON – LOURDES.
Travel by long distance coach to the town of Lourdes, where in 1858,
the Mother of God appeared to the then 14-year old Bernadette
Soubirous in the remote Grotto of Massabielle. The message with
which Our Lady entrusted to Bernadette can be summarized in four
words that evoke and amplify the Good News of the Gospels:
POVERTY, PRAYER, PENANCE, CHURCH. After dinner, catch
the evening Rosary and Candlelight procession. (B,D)
20APR (Fri). LOURDES.
Celebrate mass at one of the chapels in the Basilica. Spend time
meditating and praying the Holy Rosary at the Grotto of Massabielle,
the spot where Our Lady appeared to Bernadette and identified herself
as “I am the Immaculate Conception”. At the back of the Grotto,
to the left of the altar, one can see the flowing spring that Bernadette
discovered on 25th February 1858. Immerse yourself in the water
of the Baths. This process is a response to the invitation of the
Blessed Virgin to Bernadette on 25th February 1858 “Go drink of
the spring and wash yourself there.” The Sanctuaries and pools are
always open and religious ceremonies are held every day: Masses,
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament; Stations of the Cross; Blessed
Sacrament Procession and Blessing of the Sick: Confessions; and
the Rosary Procession every evening. (B,D)

21APR (Sat). LOURDES – LOYOLA - BURGOS (Spain).

of the Society of Jesus where a mass will be arranged at the Chapel
of Conversion. Travel by long distance coach to Burgos. Check in at
hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation. (B,D)

centers - Fatima. Catch the candlelight procession in the evening.

scenes of the apparition represented in stained glass. Here, you can

Lady’s 4th apparition; Loca do Anjo, where the children received
