TNT Quilt ~ From Colorado to Japan

    Newer Older

Yesterday's icky weather moved on and left us with a clear, bright morning. I flung the quilt over a neighbor's tree. I'm sure they think I'm batty! :o)
("TNT Quilt" = because I "tried new things" for this quilt. Made to donate to a Quilts for Japan drive where the quilts are donated to survivors of the earthquake/tsunami of March 2011)

Thanks, everyone! I've always loved the "quilt-in-a-tree" shots, so I was happy to (a) finish a quilt, and (b) have a clear morning where I could fling it over the branches and take a few pictures! :o)
I certainly appreciate your comments, though, and I'm glad you all like my little quilt!

great quilt Melissa. It's nice to see it done. If you were my neighbor, I wouldn't think it batty to hang a quilt in a tree.......

This quilt is just breathtaking and I need to start one asap. Wondered how large your hexies are. Great job....this is one of my all time favorite quilts for sure. Thanks. Judy

Thanks so much, Judy. That means a lot to me. It's a super easy quilt! The hexies are 5" from tip to tip, cut on the Accuquilt Go cutter. Please ask if you have other questions - I'm more than happy to help.
