two great things about this picture:

first, sign with adorable name ("memory lane"!), and the fact that the sign is really new, like one or two years old. fake nostalgia, anyone?

two: notice that girl giving the V sign for the camera? i didn't until i got the photo into photoshop. i didn't realize she saw me taking the picture. haha.

some kind of pointy architectural thing sticking out of the park hyatt hotel.

at the new york bar in the park hyatt hotel in shinjuku. this is the bar where bill murray hung out in lost in translation. it's completely worth the $10-$20 you would spend on a drink for this view - but go early (so there are fewer people and you get a good view/table, AND avoid the $20/person cover charge starting at 8 pm).

this is by far the most fancy and advanced toilet i have ever encountered in japan. check out all those functions!
