The effect is so pronounced. This is the best example I've seen. Way COOL!

Fantastic! I'm loving this effect. It is making me to look at all my old pictures so I can find ones to make this effect. :P

I just read an article on this last month, but this is the first time I have seen this here on Flickr. Very nicely done!

Abbastanza, anche se devo dire, osserva un po'artificiale...

Al, I don't speak Italian, but that translates as:

"Enough, even if I must say, observes a po' artificial..."

Positano, eh? Look great! Anywhere along the Amalfi coast is great!

Compression (long focal length), flat or diffuse lighting, and the exclusion of elements that would give it away, like people, also enhance the effect. Nicely done.

I wish I know how to make one of this

It's impossible not to see this as a model, it's a great effect and I've just started to have a go. This seems to be unusual given the diagonal effect. Brilliantly done.

Congratulations! This image is currently one of Flickr's most interesting photos for 2 March 2006 (A year ago today!). (It is on page one of the calendar view.) Would you please add it to the Interestingness pool? It would be a great addition!
