100_2252 what they were thinking?

(This was the last public execution in Poland, according to that article.)
For a while I was going to let this image speak for itself. But the obvious inappropriateness of this tourist moment is staggering. I will charitably presume that they didn't know about Hoess' execution per se. But if they didn't know what happened nearby, why were they there in the first place?
