Ricketts Glen State Park, Pennsylvania

Another of the wonderful falls from Ricketts Glen in Pennsylvania last year.

Today I finished the Pennsylvania part of the Eastern Waterfall Database, with entries for 192 waterfalls, including this one.

Virginia City, Nevada

Virginia City was a big city back in the day of Nevada's gold & silver rush in the late 1800s, and is now an enjoyable old western tourist trap.

Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, California.

This past weekend, I visited Alcatraz again, interestingly the day just before the new TV show started (though unintentional). I took more typical photos last time, so I figured I'd play around with shallow DoF.

Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Actually, it's a small basin connected to the main lake, since that had a nicer reflection than the windy lake. Many of the lakes I visited this time I had also visited before, but Lake Haiyaha was a new one for me, and was quite beautiful.

Currently I have been creating the Pennsylvania page of our Eastern Waterfall Database, and I realized that I had so many beautiful shots from my visits to Ricketts Glen in June, that I still hadn't posted some, including this one.
