Belgian Dubbel Homebrew

Belgian Dubbel Homebrew

Crystal clear, mahogany red color. This is young in the bottle at a mere 13 days - coming off of 11 weeks fermentation - so marbled white head was little more than a finger width deep and quickly faded to a soft lace around the glass. Aroma is sweet, caramel and stone fruit. Taste is heavy on dried fruits, prune, gala apple, little bananna, quite malty & sweet, hint of tart cranberry and alcohol in finish. Drinkability: this will go down well with a rich, red meat dinner or as an apertif, perhaps with desert. Slow and easy at 7.6% ABV.
