yeah the light really is super distracting. Not a lot you could do about it being there of course. Did you try burning it at all to at least tone it down just a bit. Still the photo has a certain sens of historical relevance and serves as an authentic moment between a candidate/President and his people. On large view the face does not seem as damaged by the light as in the smaller view.
