May Center's Core Word Project - Balloon Toss!
Recently, students at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Randolph, Mass., were cooling off with Core Words! The Center's Core Word Project is an initiative of the Speech and Language Department that aims to build and expand students' vocabularies. Students participated in a water balloon toss while practicing Core Words and phrases like water, throw, catch, my turn, your turn, and I win! Students and staff alike enjoyed having the opportunity to cool off with this fun and educational activity!
